Beach circuit/Lyn's last class/vball

I woke up today and it was just gorgeous and sunny out. I went with Colin C for an beach circuit. There were so many people on the beach--everyone else thought it was beautiful too! I found some random large logs along the run to use in the circuit which made it more fun!
By the time I got back it was time to shower and head to Lyn's last lecture! There was one student presentations about the sports in Australia---rugby (15 players on a team, two different categories--Rugby League and Rugby Union, a team game played with an oval ball that may be kicked, carried, and passed from hand to hand, points are scored by grounding the ball behind the opponents' goal line (thereby scoring a try) or by kicking it between the two posts and over the crossbar of the opponents' goal.)), surfing (very competitive sport, competed all over AUS, NZ, and US), and cricket (bat and ball sport, One team bats, trying to score as many runs as possible while the other team bowls and fields, trying to dismiss the batsmen and thus limit the runs scored by the batting team. A run is scored by the striking batsman hitting the ball with his bat, running to the opposite end of the pitch and touching the crease there without being dismissed. The teams switch between batting and fielding at the end of an innings, games can last a short period of a day or long for 3-5 days at a time). Class finished up with Lyn discussing the media of Australia and the effects of war, debt, and change on Australia. AUS is much like the U.S. I learned with debt increasing among people, divorce rates increasing, and marriages happening later in individuals lives.
After class it was sunny for about a half hour and then started to get very cloudy and began raining/pouring. I guess I was being told it was homework day! I planned a few things for New Zealand which takes place in a 2 weeks and also my independent study paper
Mother nature is a little crazy over here. One minute it is sunny and hot and the next its pouring and a bit chilly---today's experience exactly! I was shocked to see such drastic changes in weather. Sometimes form rainy sunny which was what it was like about a month ago (rained everyday but got really nice afterward), however, today  it was the opposite.
It rained for the rest of the day and got really chilly but that did not hold us back from playing volleyball---the games played and we were all drenched!
Once I dried off, I did some Insanity's Insane abs with the students and then watched "The Proposal." Watching the movie made me really tired and I think tonight was the earliest I went to bed---about 9:30! Hahaha the ole grandma is coming back out in me! I needed some rest though so it felt great!
