Class lecture/beach pic/mall/tennis

This morning I had my lecture bright and early. By the time it was over---the sun was shining! Yeah!!! Finally the sun has returned! I didn't know if I would see it to be honest again after the last few rainy and cloudy days!
But it was gorgeous! This morning we would be taking some pictures out by the point and the ocean so all the students met at 8AM (not very awake or happy to be up that early) and got the pictures completed! The students just moaned the whole time and looked like walking dead----the minute the pictures were done, they either rushed back to bed or went off to a final.
It was such a beautiful day though----sun was shining. Everyone grabbed their swimmers and laid out/played volleyball. You could tell we had not seen the sun in awhile because everyone ran out in their swimmers and towels were sprawled everywhere.
At 1:00PM, we were having our last grocery/mall day, taking by the big bus at the Recreation Center. So a bunch of students and I headed to do some last minute shopping before we head off this weekend. When we returned, we continued to lay out for a bit and then I went off to play some tennis (tennis courts just down from the cabin) with Jen, Jason, and Casey. I am not good by any means, but they all helped me serve and play better. I think I missed three balls---which was really embarrassing---she swings, she misses---haha I was laughing at myself. But luckily I had Jason on my team and he is great so it made up for my awfulness. We played two games and then it got pretty dark and the courts looked as if they were crawling. There were huge beetles and bugs everywhere so we finished and headed back to the cabins. I had some dinner and continued working on some last minute things for the big  end-of-the-semester party tomorrow.
I met with the Avila late in the evening to put some humorous "gift" ideas for the students together and then it was bedtime for me. I can't believe the days are dwindling so quickly, I am starting to get really sad!
