This morning surprisingly it wasn't raining so I went out for a run. On my way back it started to sprinkle and when I stepped in my house, it just started pouring---perfect timing! Good run too! Then it was time to go grocery shopping---I didn't need food, but I went to the Target in the mall and looked around. By the time the students and I were done shopping, we headed back to the cabins. It was so sunny today so we all ran off to the beach---it was a bit windy but the sun felt so good. I spent about an hour on the beach and then came back to play volleyball. The game we played was so much fun--I think it was 6 on 6 and some intense volleys going on. I love sand volleyball!
I couldn't get myself out the sun, but it turned cloudy about 4PM so I retreated inside to get some homework done. Some of the guys started running after a turkey and trying to catch it, but the turkey won this time and ran quickly away. I showed some the guys the new gym which they were excited about and did my own cardio/strength training circuit. I came back to find Abby, my roommate, made me some chicken for a chicken taco salad---mmm delicious!
This weekend we were all heading to Brisbane so I had to get a few things packed, shower, and clean up the cabin before leaving bright and early in the morning. It was a long night to say the least----lots to do!
