Class/shopping/lake

This morning was my online class followed by Marine Biology. Danny the professor is a professor from Southern Cross and he is very passionate about Biology. He shared:
The U.S. owns most of the oceans followed by France and then Australia.
Also he shared that Australia has the most diverse marine fauna--few specimens, but an abundance of different specimens.
I also learned that the East Coast of most continents have warm water at the coast because water pulls from the equator to the poles and the West Coast has cool water because the water pulls from the poles to the equator.
After 3 hours of lecture, I retreated to get a 6 inch subway sandwich and then ran to the mall with Kate and Terry. We found a Target at the mall which was very similar to the ones at home. Clothing, shoes, toys, bed/bath, and toiletries.
We walked around to another dollar store and then went to a couple other gyms for me and then back to the cabins. The surf coach, Serena, came to bring the students their surf certificates. Today I also found out that we booked a trip to Sydney for the first week of March. I can't wait!
There was still some sun left so a few students and I went to the lake. We took a short dip in the TeaTree Lake--this lake has a lot of nutrients from TeaTree--its great for our skin and hair we were told!
Tonight was going to be pancakes for dinner! The first few were ugly but then they got better and were delicious with peanut butter.  mmmmmmm!
Finished the night with some homework, booked a flight to Boston to visit my friend Katie and just hung out in our cabin! I heard some loud noises coming from one of my students' cabin so I had to go check it out----it was a dance party so I couldn't pass up the opportunity and joined for a little bit. But I was exhausted and need some sleep! Grocery day tomorrow morning!!!!
