Grasshopper tour-waterfall, Nimbin

After the best night of dancing, I had a full tour planned for the students and I. At 9:20AM we boarded a bus and it was time for some fun! This tour I booked through Greyhound and had multiple destinations along its course. The first bus ride was about an hour and a half  but it was a beautiful one. Lots of lush green pastures, rolling hills, acres and acres of green nature.
The first stop was Nimbin---alternative lifestyle community. That means lots of rainbows, weed, and  "cookies." In the matter of 60 seconds from getting of our rainbow bus, we were offered weed and cookies. Totaling about 4 offers I believe in the hour we spent there. I walked around the shop and looked at lots of tie-dye, hemp, and jewelry and then we were off to the second stop, a huge market.
The tour took us to this massive market with tons of tents, food, ice cream, clothing, and gift--it was much like a fair. I got some fruit ice cream--made with bananas and strawberries---mmmm delicious on such a hot hot day. I also had a little kettle corn which was made there. After an hour of walking around the market, it was off to our BBQ where I had a veggie burger and a salad and took a nice walk along a trail.
The final destination was Whian Whian Waterfall---we went to this same waterfall Monday with Lyn, but got to go again on this tour. We spent only 15 minutes here and then had an hour drive back home. Everyone enjoyed getting a little wet and refreshed by the waterfall. By this time we were all exhausted and napping on the bus for the ride home. It was a long day and we all wanted to get back to our cabins. Getting dropped off at our stop, this is the first time it felt like "home." We were all happy to be back along the lake and back to our little community in Lennox Head.
