Shopping for group dinner/pizza night

I slept in a little this morning from the long night. Abby and I hung out and chatted while I got some work done. I needed to go outside for a bit thought so I am heading down to the ocean for a walk!
I also go my bags last night/this morning!!! Woo hoo only took 5 days!! But finally I have my own clothing!
The walk never happened since the Avilas just pulled up and I had to meet with Dr. Avila about the next two nights dinner. I had to then head off to Crazy Clarks, Aldis (which I was so excited to see in Australia), and Coles (grocery store) to get the meals that Abby and I planned. We would have salads, pizza from Dominos, and pop tonight and then fruit, hotdogs, grilled veggies, mac and cheese, baked beans, and yogurt bars and chocolate ice cream bars for dessert. It took Abby and I almost 4 hours to shop and make sure we had everything for all 28 students---it was exhausting to say the least. I stayed out of the sun though which my skin appreciated I think. The pictures below were some funny fruits that I just had to get a picture of and share! lol!
By the time we got back, we had to start making the salads and have the meeting/pizza was being delivered at 6:30PM. The pizza were larges and they were only about half the size of the normal size pizza. Margarita pizza is a very popular pizza flavor---cheese, tomatoes, and some spices basically. And the cheese pizza had so much cheese, no one could separate a piece... I tried a piece of Margarita--it was ok but nothing compared to Chicago thats for sure. After dinner and talking about some odds and ends, we had a volleyball game.
I felt like I did nothing today and really need to find a gym or I may go crazy----the weather makes up for it though---it has been sunny, about 85-90 degrees everyday. A very typical term they use here is "no worries." The Australians are such happy, go-with-the-flow kind of people, there is no planning involved here and if there are plans they change all the time. They are very kind individuals though, always willing to help, and the accents are still awesome to hear! I hope I pick up one before I get home!
Did the first load of laundry today and then it was bedtime--what a weekend! First class tomorrow at 8:30!!
